- Dear Campers and Parents:
- Thank you for registering for Rising Stock Basketball Academy's Multi-Sport Camp!
- We are eagerly looking forward to greeting all of our campers on Monday morning. We have a great week planned that will certainly be a lot of fun. Listed below you will find important info and answers to frequently asked questions
- Communication - Information about camp will be shared using the following the 3 modes of communication below. Please check for updates daily. You can always text Kevin or Mike at the numbers listed at the bottom of this letter.
- Main page of our website - www.risingstockbasketball.com
- What time should campers report in the morning and be picked up at the end of the day? We ask that all campers be dropped off between 8:45 and 9:15. Campers can begin getting picked up at 2:45-3:15. Please make sure your child is ready to exit the vehicle when they get to the drop-off point in the morning.
- Where should campers report in the morning? Assumption - 1900 Meadowbrook Rd. Feasterville, PA.
- St. Bede - All parents should enter the St. Bede campus using the East entrance. If you were in front of the school, looking at the school it is the entrance to your right (opposite side of the building from the church). When you turn into the entrance just continue straight to the right of the building and follow the directions to the drop off area. Campers should not get out of their cars until they are greeted by one of our camp counselors. Campers will be checked into camp at this time. Parents and any other family members should remain in their cars.
- Where should I pick my child up at the end of the day?
- Parents should enter the St. Bede's campus using the same entrance as the morning. Follow the directions to the pick-up area. Your child will meet you at the pick-up area. Parents should not park or get out of their cars.
- Should campers pack a lunch?
- Yes, campers should bring their own lunch if they wish. Snacks and drinks will be sold during lunches - Gatorade $2.00, Chips $1.00 and candy $.25 - $1.00. If you do not want your child handling money we recommend that money be put in an envelope with your child's name and the amount on the envelope. Envelopes will be collected in the morning as campers check in each morning.
- Is the camp indoors or outdoors?
- Both. We have been running our camp in this fashion for 25 years. Once the campers are divided into their grade groups they will rotate through activities that take place in the gym and outdoors.
- Over the past 25 years we have experienced a few excessively hot days. If there is a day that we know is going to be excessively hot we may move the start of camp up by 1 hour to 8 o’clock to take advantage of the cooler part of the day. Camp will end 6 hours after the designated start time if we need to adjust the start time.
- Will campers be required to wear a mask?
- Masks are optional for coaches and players
- What should campers bring with them to camp?
- • Water Bottle – There will be re-filling stations available
- • Hand Sanitizer (highly encouraged)
- • Sunscreen - Parents should put sunscreen on their child before camp. You may want to put sunscreen in your child's bag. Our counselors for our younger grade groups will assist with reapplying sunscreen as needed.
- • Basketball or training sneakers, a T-shirt, and shorts. NO open toe shoes or crocks.
- • Please leave all jewelry, watches, and hats at home.
- We hope we have answered all of your questions. If there are any further questions please feel free to contact Mike at 267-767-8986 or Kevin Ochs at 215-399-6409.
